How it works

No contract, no lock-in, and nothing starts until you've seen exactly what I found and what it costs.

Start to finish

  1. I audit your site first, free. I go through it and write down exactly what's broken and what it's costing you. Your real title tags, your real missing pieces. Not a template. You get the list whether you hire me or not, and you're welcome to hand it to whoever built your site.
  2. You look at the list. Most of it you'll be able to check yourself in about a minute. That's on purpose. If you can't verify it, you shouldn't believe it.
  3. If you want it fixed, we agree it in writing first. A short email: exactly what I'm doing, exactly what it costs, when it'll be done, and what I'm not doing. You reply "approved." No surprises later.
  4. I do the work. You add me as a user on your own account. I never ask for your password. Everything gets backed up before I touch it, and you can remove my access the second we're done.
  5. You see the before and after. Same searches, same screen, side by side. If it moved, you'll see it moved. If it didn't yet, I'll say that too.

What I won't promise you

What I will do is the specific searches you can actually win, and the map box, which is where your phone actually rings from.

A few things people ask

Do I have to rebuild my whole site?

Usually not. Plenty of sites are mostly fine and just need the broken parts fixed. I'd rather do the small job than sell you the big one, and I'll tell you straight which one you're looking at.

What if another company built it?

That's common and it's not a dead end. Often they'll add me as a user if you ask. If not, I'll write up exactly what's wrong and how to fix it and you hand that to them.

You're paying me to know what's broken, not to click the buttons.

Who owns the site?

You do. Your site, your domain, your Google profile. Nothing is rented from me and nothing gets held hostage if you decide to leave.

How long until I see something?

The audit is usually a day. A site build is about a week.

On the search side, the Google Business Profile work tends to move first and often shows within weeks. The competitive searches take longer.

What do you need from me to get started?

Your website address is enough for the audit. That's it.

To do the work I'll need to be added as a user on your own accounts, photos of your crew and your finished jobs, and answers to a few questions only you can answer: which services actually make you money, and which areas you'll drive to.

Will my site go down while you work on it?

No. I take a full backup first and check it actually downloaded before touching anything.

Changes go on one at a time and I check the site still loads after each one. If something does break, I fix it at no charge. That's on me.

Questions about money are answered on the pricing page, including what each job includes line by line.

Ready when you are

Send me your website address. I'll go through it and send the list back, usually within a day.
